SBI²'s 9th annual conference took place September 18 – 20, 2022 at The Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts.
The 2022 conference marked a departure from past years’, its focus extending beyond high-content imaging to biomolecular imaging & informatics more broadly construed. The agenda will explore the following:
- Spatial omics
- Advanced microscopy platforms
- Artificial intelligence / machine learning applications
- High-content, image-based assays
- 3D, co-culture, organ-on-a-chip imaging
As has been the case in prior years, the first day of the conference, Sunday, September 18, was Education Day, with parallel tracks exploring best practices and unmet needs in biomolecular imaging & informatics. The annual Colloquium was held that afternoon. Monday and Tuesday were devoted to keynotes, formal sessions, poster viewings, and exhibiting. The conference will conclude with the Award Ceremony and the SBI2 Annual General Meeting.
The conference again featured a poster competition and the annual President's Innovation Award. Abstract submissions were also invited for potential podium presentation. The President's Innovation Award recognizes an early-career researcher who has innovated meaningfully in biomolecular imaging and informatics and who is likely to become a leader in the field.
