Dave Bunten is a Research Software Engineer in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, with over a decade of experience building sustainable software and including the Cytomining ecosystem of image-based profiling tools. He champions reproducible, community-driven bioimage informatics by creating accessible tutorials and resources that empower researchers to manage and analyze high-content imaging workflows. He holds an M.Ed. in Educational Technology and is passionate about mentoring and fostering lasting software stewardship.
