Jenna Tomkinson

Jenna Tomkinson is a Quantitative Cell Biologist in the Gregory Way Lab at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Behavioral Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Colorado Denver in 2022. During her undergraduate studies, Jenna conducted research on the impact of temperature stress on gene expression across developmental stages in Drosophila melanogaster (common fruit fly).
Jenna facilitates image analysis and image-based profiling for multiple projects in her current role, including studies on Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and pyroptotic cell death. She is also actively developing her skills in machine learning models to support various research initiatives at the lab, including studies on cardiac fibrosis and nuclear speckles.
Jenna is committed to advancing the field of computational biology and contributing to the development of innovative workflows and pipelines.
