Victor Wong

Core Life Analytics

Victor is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Core Life Analytics to empower scientists to rapidly find answers in big data sets, and to accelerate their scientific discovery process. Victor has extensive research experience spanning metabolism, neuroscience and auditory fields. He completed his PhD from the University of Toronto in Canada where he applied high content imaging to quantify protein nuclear translocation in pancreatic beta-cells. Victor received his Canadian Institutes of Health Research Fellowship to gain better understanding of neuronal plasticity in the auditory and central nervous systems at the University of California (UCD and UCSF). He then completed his second postdoctoral fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine using HTS/HCS approaches for drug and target discovery. He identified a number a compounds and investigated their impacts on axonal growth, microtubule dynamics, axonal transport.
